Passei um tempinho sem trazer coisas novas para o nosso especial de sustentabilidade, mas retorno hoje trazendo uma marca que todo mundo deveria conhecer, a Urban Flowers. Fundada por mulheres e composta praticamente por mulheres, essa marca possui a sustentabilidade, o feminismo, o slow fashion e o veganismo como seus pilares fundamentais. Ainda existem outras coisas interessantíssimas para saber sobre ela, mas você terá de ler a postagem até o fim para descobrir. Vem comigo?

HISTÓRIA

A Urban Flowers é uma marca gaúcha de acessórios e sapatos veganos que nasceu a partir da inquietação Cecília Weiler, sua fundadora, ao descobrir a origem dos produtos que consumia. A marca não trabalha com estoques e fabrica os calçados apenas quando há a confirmação de pagamento (e de destino do produto). Além disso, os produtos só ficam disponíveis na plataforma quando há matéria-prima disponível para confeccioná-los.

Sobre a matéria-prima, todos os itens da marca são confeccionados com produtos veganos e oriundos de uma cadeia sustentável. Os tecidos dos calçados são feitos ou de algodão orgânico, ou de garrafa pet ou de refugo da grande indústria. O solado, por sua vez, é feito de borracha reciclada. A marca ainda possui o certificado EuReciclo e é reconhecida pela PETA como uma marca 100% vegana.

DESIGN

Os calçados possuem uma pegada rústica e romântica bem forte, mas também existem opções disponíveis para pessoas de gosto minimalista e discreto. A variedade de modelos, cores e estampas é maravilhosa e a qualidade dos calçados saltam aos olhos, embora eu nunca tenha tido ou visto de perto nada da Urban Flowers.

PRECINHO OU PREÇÃO?

Acho que pela primeira vez na história de nosso especial de sustentabilidade eu falarei isso: é precinho, minha gente. Pelo tanto de coisa que a marca oferece, eu esperava um valor muito mais elevado que aqueles que eu pude conferir no site, mas não foi isso o que eu encontrei.

Os preços dos produtos vão de R$49 à R$289 e os benefícios são inúmeros. Então eu dou 10/10 para o custo-benefício dos produtos da Urban Flowers.
